Financial Assistance.

Financial assistance is available to mission-compatible students who could not otherwise attend Bridgeway. Recommendations for assistance are made by a third party organization which provides Bridgeway with a confidential financial needs-analysis report. Financial assistance requests are processed in the order of need and awarded based on available funds. Eligible returning BCA students are given priority consideration. In accordance with the financial assistance guidelines set by BCA, the amount of assistance awarded may not exceed 50 percent of the published tuition rate. Before applying for aid, you must first apply for admission to Bridgeway Christian Academy.

Frequently Asked Questions about Assistance

Q: How are my finances evaluated?

A: To assist us in allocating our financial aid fund fairly, we have enlisted the help of Independent School Management’s FAST program. FAST provides a need-based financial aid analysis service which includes a recommendation of what a family should reasonably contribute toward tuition. To apply for financial assistance, please click on the following link FACTS.

Q: Does application for tuition assistance affect admissions?

A: Every applicant is Admission decisions are based solely upon a student’s qualifications.

Q: How is tuition assistance funded?

A: Tuition assistance is funded through a number of sources: BCA Foundation Fund, the Annual Operating Budget, and other donations made to Bridgeway.

Q: Who should apply for tuition assistance?

A: If the cost of tuition to Bridgeway is beyond a family’s financial means, they should apply for tuition assistance. Income may not preclude the possibility of assistance since other dependents, other tuition costs, considerable debt (excluding consumer debt), unusual medical expenses, or some other extraordinary financial burden are considerations. The entire process is strictly confidential. The School’s policy for determining the financial need of students is based on the principle that both parents are responsible for the support and educational expenses of their children to the extent that they are financially able to assume that responsibility.

Q: If I currently receive tuition assistance, do I have to apply again?

A: Yes. A family must submit a new Parent’s Financial Statement to FAST each year. Any student currently receiving need-based assistance may reapply as long as all current financial obligations to the school have been met.

Q: Who has access to my financial information?

A: Bridgeway is committed to protecting the privacy of our families; therefore, all information received by the Finance Office is held in the strictest confidence. Financial information is never shared with anyone outside the Finance Office.

Q: How and when should I apply?
