Q. Are you currently accepting applications?

A. Yes! The enrollment process at BCA is ongoing.  BCA accepts applications throughout the school year until the grade is filled to capacity. 

Q. What does it mean to be a covenant school?

A. A covenant school requires all staff and at least one parent within a family to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. In addition, it is expected that families seeking enrollment at BCA regularly attend a local church, which upholds the evangelical tradition expressed in our statement of faith.

Q. Is Bridgeway Christian Academy accredited?

A. Yes. We are accredited by the AdvancED(SACS) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

Q. What are your school hours?

A. Preschool (3 year old) – 8am to 12pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Preschool (4 year old) – 8am to 12pm Monday through Thursday (4 day program) or Monday through Friday (5 day program)

Kindergarten (half day) – 8am to 12:15pm Monday through Friday

Kindergarten (full day) and 1st through 5th – 8am to 3pm Monday through Thursday, 8am – 12:15pm Friday

Middle School – 8am – 3pm Monday through Friday

Q. Do students at BCA wear uniforms?

A. BCA students in grades P3 through 8th are required to wear school uniforms Monday – Thursday.  Fridays are jeans and Christian/spirit t-shirt day. Dress for $2 is a PTF fundraiser that gives students a break from uniforms on designated late start days.

Q.  Are entrance assessments required for BCA?

A. Yes, all new rising K5 through 8th grade students receive a teacher-administered assessment to assist with proper placement. Once the application is received, our Director of Admissions will reach out to schedule the assessment.  Along with testing, standardized tests and report cards will be reviewed during the admissions process. If there is a question concerning past academic performance once an applicant’s transcripts have been reviewed, further assessment may be necessary before admittance can be determined.

Q. Are books included in tuition?

A. Yes, books are included in the annual tuition.  However, students will be given a list of additional supplies to be purchased before the first day of school.

Q. Do you accept I-20 students?

A. Yes, we admit international students on a limited basis. International students must have strong English language skills and provide appropriate transcripts of previous school progress.

Q. Does the school provide a bus service?

A. Currently, BCA does not have bus service.
