Admissions Process.

BCA is a rolling enrollment school meaning that we are always accepting applications. Outlined below, the application process takes approximately three weeks to complete.

Step One – Inquire. Contact our Director Admissions, Melissa Hayes, to ask any preliminary questions you may have or to schedule a time to tour the school.

Step Two – Tour. Visit our campus by either  scheduling a personal tour or making plans to attend one of our Parent Preview Days or Open House.

Step Three – Apply. Submit the application for admission online with $150 (nonrefundable) application fee.

Step Four – Required Documents. Complete and submit the following admissions paperwork:

    • Records Release Form
    • Official transcripts from current school (K5 through 8th)
    • Completed Confidential Teacher Evaluation Form
    • Completed Confidential Pastor/Church Leader Recommendation Form
    • Current Immunization Form (Georgia Form #3231)
    • DHR Eye, Ear, and Dental (Form# 3300)
    • Birth Certificate (a copy is acceptable)

Step Five – Student Entrance Assessment. Prospective students entering grade Kindergarten through 8th are required to take our entrance assessment. Our Director of Admissions will reach out to schedule the assessment.

Step Six – Parent Faith Interview. As a covenant school, this is the most crucial part of the admissions process. The parent faith interview is done with a member of the BCA Administration and the purpose of this interview is to make sure that all of your questions about Bridgeway Christian Academy have been answered and to make certain that BCA is the appropriate school for your family.  This is also another way for us to protect the integrity of our covenant school community by learning about your faith journey.  As a covenant school, a requirement for admission to BCA is that at least one parent is a Christian with a testimony of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Step Seven – Student Interview (for rising 6th – 8th only). Prospective students entering 6th through 8th grades are required to meet with our Dean of Students to discuss the expectations of being a BCA Middle School student.

Step Eight – Admissions Committee Review. Members of the admissions committee will meet and prayerfully review the applicants complete file to determine if all the admissions requirements are met.

Step Nine – Admissions Decisions Sent.  BCA notifies families of admission decisions via mail or email.

Step Ten – Enrollment Packet sent. If acceptance is extended, the admissions department will send the enrollment packet electronically to be completed.  To secure enrollment, this must be completed and the enrollment fee paid ($300 for Pre3 and Pre4, $500 for K5 – 8th)
