BCA is a rolling enrollment school meaning that we are always accepting applications. Outlined below, the application process takes approximately three weeks to complete.

Step One – Inquire. Contact our Director of Enrollment Management, Seritha Stewart, to ask any preliminary questions you may have or to schedule a time to tour the school.

Step Two – Tour. Visit our campus by either scheduling a personal tour or making plans to attend one of our Parent Preview Days or Open House.

Step Three – Apply. Submit the application for admission online with $150 (nonrefundable) Application and Testing fee.

Step Four – Required Documents. Complete and submit the following admissions paperwork:

Step Five – Student Entrance Assessment. Prospective students entering  Kindergarten through 8th grade are required to take our entrance assessment. Our Director of Admissions will reach out to schedule the assessment.

Step Six – Parent Faith Interview. As a covenant school, this is the most crucial part of the admissions process. The parent faith interview is done with a member of the BCA Administration and the purpose of this interview is to make sure that all of your questions about Bridgeway Christian Academy have been answered and to make certain that BCA is the appropriate school for your family.  This is also another way for us to protect the integrity of our covenant school community by learning about your faith journey.  As a covenant school, a requirement for admission to BCA is that at least one parent is a Christian with a testimony of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Step Seven – Student Interview (for rising 6th – 8th only). Prospective students entering 6th through 8th grades are required to meet with our Dean of Students to discuss the expectations of being a BCA Middle School student.

Step Eight – Admissions Committee Review. Members of the admissions committee will meet and prayerfully review the applicant’s complete file to determine if all the admissions requirements are met.

Step Nine – Admissions Decision Sent.  BCA notifies families of admission decisions via mail or email.

Step Ten – Enrollment Packet sent. If acceptance is extended, the admissions department will send you instructions for completing the enrollment packet online.  To secure enrollment, this must be completed and the enrollment deposit paid ($300 for Pre3 and Pre4, $500 for K5 – 8th)

Covenant school requirements:
We require that at least one parent is a Christian with a testimony of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Age requirements:
BCA follows the Georgia state requirements that a child must be five years old on or before September 1st to enter Kindergarten. The child must be six years old on or before September 1st to enter first grade.  A child who was a legal resident of one or more states for a period of two years immediately prior to moving to Georgia and who was legally enrolled in either a public Kindergarten or first grade, or a private Kindergarten or first grade accredited by a state or regional association, would be eligible to enroll in Georgia schools, provided that the Kindergartner is five years old by December 31 or the first grader is six by that date.
