School News

Are you feeling the “May”hem yet? We all know the last few weeks of school can be crazy, but we are going to hang in there together and finish strong. Praise God that our middle school students returned safely from their trips to DC and Chattanooga last week.  They all had an amazing time!  On Thursday, under the direction of Mrs. Gilchrist’s 4th grade class, our lower school students recognized National Day of Prayer with a special chapel.  Fourth grade students took time to write intentional prayers for seven specific areas in which our classes walked around to pray over.  It was a beautiful, Spirit-filled time.  On Friday, several of our 3rd through 6th grade students participated in the Perimeter Track Meet.  Wow, do our kids have heart and determination!  These students gave it everything they had and did a fantastic job.

Just a few carpool reminders as we finish up these last few weeks of school:

  • Cease all cell phone use once carpool begins
  • DO NOT back up at any point during carpool
  • Drive carefully and use caution when exiting the parking lot

Spring Fine Arts Festival
Join us this Thursday at 7 pm for our Spring Fine Arts Festival.  Our 4th and 5th art and music students along with our band and Middle School art and music students have been hard at work. Come and enjoy a night of the arts as we celebrate the God-given talents of these remarkable students.
