Happy Friday!! We have had a full week here at BCA. Many of our classes ventured out to different places throughout the week. Our fourth graders visited the Capital Building followed by a stop at the Varsity on Tuesday. Also on Tuesday, Mrs. Vega’s fifth graders explored the gold mines in Dahlonega.  On Thursday, both of our first grade classes went to the Georgia Aquarium.

The PTF has been hard at work planning our Final Fiesta THIS Sunday!  We look forward to saying farewell to the 2016.17 school year with you.  The silent auction will begin promptly at 4:30pm followed by a catered dinner at 5pm.  Here is a list of items to be auctioned off.

We had a great NAML Championship week! Our track and field team represented us so well at the NAML meet on Wednesday. Eighth grader, Ling H took gold in discus, eighth grader Josh G  won gold in shot put,  seventh grader Aubrey L for silver in discus and seventh grader Zarina A a bronze in shot put. Way to go Lions!  On Thursday afternoon the rain stayed away long enough for our boys’ soccer team to compete in the NAML championship game against Cornerstone.  We didn’t take home the win but they played amazing and we are proud of our 2nd place finish for the season.  Our golf team played extremely well on Thursday at the NAML Tournament.  Great week LIONS!
