Final Fiesta Single Invitation (1)

We are excited to already have several new families enrolled for the 2017.2018 school year.  We are looking for current BCA families to be part of our “New Family Ambassador” program.  The goal of the ambassador program is to make our new families feel welcome at BCA and get them involved in a way that they are comfortable. We also want to provide new families with another resource outside of the BCA staff to ask questions, voice concerns, seek advice, etc. This program is a great way to grow and build community. If you are interested and would like to be paired up, please email Melissa Hayes (mhayes@bridgewayca.org).

On Thursday, Mrs. Broyles’ third grade class went to Bulloch Hall, the home of Mittie Bulloch who was the mother of President Theodore Roosevelt. They learned about rich history of the Bulloch family.  Mittie was the epitome of a southern belle and married a man named Theodore Roosevelt.  They had four children and one of them they named Theodore Roosevelt (after his father of course).  This Theodore Roosevelt would go on to become the 26th President of the United States.  After their visit, students stopped by Krispy Kreme for a yummy treat before heading back to school.

Destiny Stewart, daughter of Mrs. Seritha Stewart, will be putting on a beginner (1st-3rd grade) and elite (4th-8th grade) girls’ volleyball skills camp in just a few short weeks. Beginners (1st-3rd) sessions will be Tuesday, May 2nd and Thursday, May 4th from 3-4pm and the cost is $30.  The Elite (4th-8th) session takes place May 8th, 9th and 11th from 3-4:30pm and on May 12th from 3-4pm.  The cost is $60.  See below for more information and to register please email sstewart@bridgewayca.org.
