“He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said.” Matthew 28:6 – isn’t good to know that we have a God who keeps His promises?  We had a wonderful Good Friday chapel today. Thanks to our 8th grade Bible class for leading. It was a wonderful time to reflect and give praise to the One who sacrificed so much so that His children could have eternal life and freedom from sin.  We truly hope that you and your family have a wonderful Easter.  Also, please remember that we do not have school on Monday so enjoy the long weekend.

This week our 1st-8th grade students took the ITBS test on Tuesday through Thursday. We are confident that all of our students did an amazing job and are so proud of them.   After testing, students got to enjoy some fun on the new and improved playground.  Thanks to your help with raising funds through the Donut Dash 5K, we were able to add an outdoor basketball court, gaga ball pit, and make some updates to our playground equipment.  Coming soon there will be a few 4 square courts and a shaded seating area.   Our Middle School students participated in a variety of interim classes once they completed their ITBS testing this week.  Some students ventured offsite to go bowling, Top Golf, Get Air and sewing fun.  Others stayed on campus to grill, practice yoga, hone their crafting skills and more.

On Wednesday our Preschool through 1st grade classes had a visitor.  The Petting Zoo came to visit!  They had a blast getting their hands on chicks, ducks, rabbits, goats and a pig! This day is always one of the best here at BCA.

Thank you to Coach Clark and his puppeteers for performing “Alive Forever” to our lower school on Thursday.  It was an inspiring Easter musical that told the amazing story of God’s plan for our lives through Jesus Christ.

Looking ahead…

Next Wednesday, the Portrait Shoppe will be coming to take our Spring Pictures.   Please dress your child(ren) in their “Mom’s Choice/Sunday Best” attire. Please keep in mind BCA’s dress code and modesty policy when picking out their outfits.  Sibling photos will start at 7:45am. Please arrive on time if you are choosing to do sibling pictures. They will not be taken later in the day. Kindergarten students will be having their cap and gown pictures taken and we ask that they wear their dress uniform.  If your kindergarten student is taking a sibling photo and you would like them to wear something different for that photo, parents will be responsible for changing them into their dress uniform afterwards.   Please turn in the picture consent form by Tuesday, April 18th.

We are only a few weeks away from our Final Fiesta on Sunday, April 30th from 4:30-6:30pm. This is going to be a fun event starting with the BCA Silent Auction and a catered meal from Qdoba.  Click here to RSVP by April 24th.
